Some red foxes are born with a gene mutation that results in their fur to be black in colour. In the original painting I mixed a combination of complimentary colours to get the unique black that can be seen in the ears and snout.
This is a great print for bedrooms or any gallery wall.
People are often drawn to the eyes of my animal paintings and the intensity of this fox will be sure to make people stare.
